Cover Up tattoo Ideas

Tattoo Cover Up Ideas

If you have an old tattoo you would like to get rid of, or even a newer tattoo that you now regret, you should consider a tattoo cover up. This is a great way to not only get rid of the old design, but at the same time get a new tattoo design more to your liking.

Here are some good tattoo cover up ideas:

1. Tribal.

If you are at all into tribal designs, then you could consider getting a tribal tattoo incorporated or covered over with the tattoo you want to cover up. Tribals can blend in well and are so deep colored that if you have an old fading tattoo you want covered, it can do the job.

2. Name Cover Ups.

A common tattoo to get covered up are names. These can carry a huge amount of regret, and covering them up can be a great, relieving experience.

There are different ways you can cover up names. Choosing a design using the same color as the name can usually be incorporated and covered efficiently.

Another, less likely option may be to change the actual name in some manner. Making it comical, or re-wording it so it now means something different. An example of this would be how the actor Johnny Depp changed his "Winona Forever" tattoo, into "Wino Forever". It's usually rare that a good name change can work, but if so it is something to consider.

3. Modern Tattoo Design Cover up.

An excellent way to cover up an undesirable tattoo is by getting one of the latest modern designs that are out there. Usually these can be very rich and color, as well as elaborate, thus making a cover up job very doable.

Getting a modern design can be great as well, as not only are you covering up a tattoo, but you are essentially replacing it with a much, much better one.

Foot Tattoos

Foot tattoos are very popular and most common among people who wish to have a tattoo design that is easily concealable, and just as easy to showoff with a pair of sandals or even by going barefoot.

Foot tattoos are usually seen on women, but not exclusively, and some of the most popular designs include butterflies, flowers and stars.

Dog Tattoos

Dog tattoos aren't just beautiful works of art, they also represent the love and dedication we have for our furry four legged friends.

Whether you are paying tribute to a fallen pup or you wish to commend your best buddy, dog owners know how irreplaceable a pet dog can be, and that is why many people are seeking portrait tattoos of their favorite adorable dogs.

Browse through this picture gallery below and admire the stunning artwork.

There is no specific area where animal and dog tattoos are most common, but the chest and arm are always excellent locations for any tattoo design.

Most people prefer the simple dog head portrait, however inking your dogs entire body is something to consider as well. Perhaps a good back piece idea.

As you can see from the pictures above, not all dog tattoos are cute and sweet looking, in fact many folks prefer to portray their dog in a growling or striking motion. I suppose this would depend on the breed and temperament of the dog.

subject: My friend bobby got this dumb tattoo

A resident Japanese says it means “Green Vegetable”, so we have been laughing at bobby. We could never get him to say. One theory is "weed", slang for marijuana.

What do you say?

Thanks!

菜 indeed means "greens, vegetable, food dish".

Bobby needs to lay off smoking oregano, the gateway drug to catnip.
